Every commission is a collaboration. Whether you seek a hand-painted heirloom canvas, a hybrid digital masterpiece, or a whimsical handmade treasure, we utilize traditional skill and modern tools to bring your artifact to life.
The Commission Terms & Agreement:
1. Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your place in the forge and cover initial material costs. The remaining balance, plus shipping, is due upon completion before the artifact is released.
2. Timeline & Workload: Our standard creation window is 4-6 weeks. However, as each piece is forged by hand, timelines may extend during periods of high workshop volume or for complex commissions. We will provide a firm estimated completion date upon acceptance of your deposit.
3. Rush Clause: Need an artifact sooner? Requests required in under 3 weeks are subject to an Expedited Production Fee equal to 25% or a minimum of $25, whichever is greater, pending our current availability.
4. Variations: Because we work with natural materials (wood, wool, stones, & hand-mixed pigments), slight variations in texture and color are part of the artifacts unique character. No two pieces from the workshop are identical.
5. Revisions Policy: For Smitewright commissions, you will receive one digital concept sketch for approval. Major changes requested after the physical painting or crafting process has begun may result in additional fees.
